Thank you to all the teachers for going above and beyond to reach your students.

 

This school year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers have spent hours and hours in front of a screen, working out how to deliver the content of their classes via online learning. Without being able to see each other face-to-face, students and teachers needed to learn different techniques, teaching methods and learning habits in order to communicate and try to continue with classes via video conferences and other platforms.

There has been a steep learning curve in many cases, as the curriculum content has been delivered in this unexpected way, and for nearly everyone the lockdown has lasted an entire term. Some children haven’t been able to access the technology necessary, or haven’t had the family support to be able to progress well, and in so many cases teachers have worked hard to reach those children and families. Schools and teachers have had to adapt to find new and innovative ways to connect with their students.

We have a card you can send to say thank you to teachers, and tell them they are doing a great job!

With the school closures, teachers and educators have been working hard to make sure they reach all students virtually.
